It has been a massive night in East London – the grandest final ever. 1200 people came and rocked the Village Underground until the morning hours…

Our men of town, REEPS1 and HICKS, came down to fight with their weapons of choice – paintmarkers vs. brushes…eddings vs. old skool animal hair…well done, both of ‘em…Get the whole impressions here!

Hicks vs. Reeps – more of the stuff will be put online soon.

..:: Teck1 Solo Show::..

October 31, 2008

Nice little party at the Reebok Lounge yesterday hosted by Teck1 for his solo show. Went down there, shot some people.

…unfortunately BethnalGreen Council hasn’t paid its electricity bill, so half of the town was dark and the “vna launch” of issue number 7 stopped earlier than expected. Some people at Teck1’s somehow did manage to get their copy early enough.

Luckily I got my hands on a ticket for the private viewing of the WK Interact / Anthony Lister show yesterday. The stuff they put on the wall was really impressive. If you are around Soho/Covent Garden definitely crash in the Elms Lesters Painting Rooms to check out that show, which runs until end of September. I did a little gallery for the pics I like most, but as I don’t want to spoil the story, for all the artwork you have to lift your a** and go yourself. Have a look here for the gallery: LINK.

August 16, 2008

Just found a very nice website/blog on the web. www.ukstreetart.co.uk features a lot of gallery related stuff, events and ,as a unique little gem, a couple of exclusive interviews with the big names of the scene. They also got the stencil-godfather himself, Xavier Prou aka Blek le rat. Guys, you’re definitely in my feed-favs. Keep it real.

On thursday thebricklanegallery did the opening show of the third part of the free4wall series. Met Brice and AirborneMark again. Had a good chat – and a look around. Some of the artwork was outstanding, as eg the work by DanK, some of the stuff on the walls I just didn’t get the idea behind maybe. Looked like child’s work to me – pretty expensive child’s work though. Anyway, must be art. Sometimes I don’t get that street art hype…However, have a look at the brilliant stuff:

August 9, 2008

…for everybody who wants to see the original “designated graffiti area” banksy piece (behind very stylish plexiglas though) go to Cargo at Shoreditch. Actually 2 are there. You can also have a look at a couple of Obey’s stuff and a piece by inky…

After my old host finally gave up business and killed my old blog (again) I now have installed the new version. So everything should run as usual…Up now I will try to post more street art, more pictures, more of London…

…promise.

I think in some boroughs of London they should put that sticker more often…

Did a couple of shots around Oldstreet station – more precisely – behind the dragon bar in leonard street…more to checkout at:
