[...] I came across something pretty weird but stunning when I jetted to Hamburg, Germany, last week. Something which would never exist in London town. Something no one could imagine, who is familiar with the street art scene in LDN. I came across an open-air street art gallery. (And the people close to the London art scene know, that if an artist puts some piece on the streets it will be nicked even before the wheat paste dried, the last screw is put in to fix it or the piece even appeared on any kind of street art blog…well…Anyway, here are some impressions of Hamburg’s first open-air street art gallery hosted by “die Kupferdiebe”. Most of the stuff is screwed to the wall – normal screws, no further fixation. Seems the Collectors-hype hasn’t reached Hamburg so far. more here phiga.wordpress.com [...]
